In December 2023 we signed a mutual recognition of membership agreement with The Chartered Professionals in Human Resources of Canada (CPHR). So if you’re a CIPD member, you can become a member of CPHR. And if you’re an CPHR member, you can become a member of the CIPD.

As part of the agreement you’ll also have full access to both CIPD and CPHR exclusive member benefits.

  • If you’re a Chartered Member (Chartered MCIPD) your grade of membership is equivalent to a Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR).

How to join

CIPD members

If you’re a Chartered Member and would like to benefit from joint membership you’ll need to provide proof of your membership and a current curriculum vitae, and on joining you will be awarded the equivalent membership grade of CPHR, provided your level of experience is deemed appropriate.
