The Learning Hub is run by the CIPD. We want as many people as possible to be able to use this learning platform. For example, that means you should be able to do the following:

AbilityNet has advice on making your device easier to use if you have a disability. AbilityNet is a UK charity that exists to change the lives of disabled people. It helps people to use digital technology at work, at home or in education.
We know some parts of the Learning Hub are not fully accessible. In particular, the My CPD Reflections tool.

The CIPD is committed to making the Learning Hub accessible.
The CIPD Learning Hub is fully compliant with most of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.1 AA criteria. It is partially compliant with the criteria described below.

We support our learning content with some PDFs. These are often as links out of the Learning Hub to the CIPD's website. We are aware of some issues with these and are working to resolve them.

We’ve built the Learning Hub on D2L's Brightspace platform. D2L designers build and maintain the website with accessibility in mind.
D2L's developers build accessibility into the web components they create. These accessible components are the building blocks for product development. The development team have accessibility training and use state-of-the-art automated accessibility tools.
Issues that are not covered by the automated tests we cover with manual testing. This includes testing with assistive technologies.
D2L also partner with a third-party accessibility testing company. They run user testing with users with disabilities. They test with many assistive technologies. This includes screen readers, screen magnifiers, speech input, and switch access.
