The Learning Hub is run by the CIPD. We want as many people as possible to be able to use this learning platform. For example, that means you should be able to do the following:

  • Use your assistive tools or browser plugins to change colour contrast, font size, or font type.
  • Zoom in up to 200% without the text spilling off the screen.
  • Navigate most of the platform using a keyboard, or your alternative navigation tools.
  • Navigate most of the platform using speech recognition software.
  • 'Skip to main content' using tab on your keyboard on most of the pages.
  • Listen to most of the Learning Hub using your screen reader. (This includes the most recent versions of JAWS, NVDA and VoiceOver.)
  • Listen to content using your text reader tools.

We’ve also made the Learning Hub text as simple as possible to understand.

AbilityNet has advice on making your device easier to use if you have a disability. AbilityNet is a UK charity that exists to change the lives of disabled people. It helps people to use digital technology at work, at home or in education.
