When you're a Chartered Fellow, you can use the designation Chartered FCIPD after your name.
You can apply for Chartered Fellow Membership if you have at least two years of experience working at Chartered Fellow level.
This will mean you are a highly experienced people professional who is working strategically with high levels of complexity, leading the thinking in a people function in an organisation and be strategic in delivery. You ll be a role-model for the people profession, making ethical decisions backed by professional integrity.
The membership levels are aligned with the Profession Map. The membership standards contain the core knowledge and core behaviours of the map, which you need to demonstrate in order to become a Chartered Fellow. Find out more about the membership standards.

If you have completed a CIPD Advanced diploma (Level 7) or a CIPD accredited Postgraduate Diploma/Masters degree from a recognised university approved by CIPD, you may be able to upgrade to Chartered Fellow by completing an Upgrade Assessment.
