The right to request remote working in Ireland

Ireland's Workplace Relations Commission invited submissions from public consultation on the drafting of the Code of Practice on the Right to Request Remote Working under Part 4 of the Work Life Balance and Miscellaneous Provisions Act 2023.  We shared our views on this, which we compiled from member input as well as a vast array of research and consideration to other legislative changes in the Irish employment landscape.  We suggested practical guidance considerations for employers and employees and a need for definition and clarity for both parties in the employment relationship.
