In October, the CIPD made a submission to the Migration Advisory Committee (MAC). The MAC was commissioned by the government in July 2017 to advise on the economic and social impacts of the UK’s exit from the European Union.

The CIPD’s submission focused on employer views on immigration policy including migration restrictions; migration trends; and recruitment practices.
