The CIPD has released new research highlighting that Irish companies which invest in employee wellbeing are seeing higher profits and enjoying stronger reputation rankings.
In this study, carried out in conjunction with Welliba, researchers analysed publicly available information on employee experience and wellbeing from platforms such as LinkedIn, Glassdoor and Reddit. We then used this data to score 566 organisations across areas such as wellbeing, employer brand, career growth and learning and development.
Finally, we compared their scores with RepTrak’s list of the world’s most reputable companies to understand where they would rank.
Key findings include:
- Companies investing heavily in employee wellbeing are four times more profitable than those that don’t.
- Organisations scoring highly in career progression are almost three times more likely to appear in RepTrak’s top 25.
- A strong focus on learning and development doubles the likelihood of achieving a high reputation score.
- A positive employer brand perception makes an organisation almost four times more likely to rank as a global reputation leader.
