People professionals from the world’s largest energy company earn CIPD recognition and further demonstrate their commitment to professional development.
The CIPD was proud to join Aramco this week in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia to mark their first-ever graduation ceremony, celebrating 700+ of the organisation’s HR professionals in achieving CIPD qualifications at Foundation, Associate and Advanced levels. The event also marked another milestone in the ever-growing partnership between Aramco and the CIPD, forged in 2019 and strengthened earlier this year through the visit of Aramco HR SVP Faisal A. Al-Hajji to our office in London.
The continued development of such relationships with big corporations in Saudi Arabia demonstrates the CIPD’s commitment to enhancing work and working lives in the region. Through the CIPD’s tailored training programmes, qualifications, and assessment, our collaboration with Aramco is enabling thousands of HR practitioners to develop their knowledge and competencies in line with the CIPD Profession Map, the global benchmark for the people profession.
“It is a privilege to be trusted with the learning, assessment and recognition of Aramco’s HR professionals. And by partnering with Aramco, and other organisations, we are honoured to support the HR profession’s development in the region.”
Aramco is an outstanding example of the many organisations across Saudi Arabia and the Middle East that are committing to professionalising their HR functions. Peter Cheese’s latest visit to the region included the 2024 Middle East People Awards, which has received a record number of entries from people teams from Bahrain, UAE, KSA, Qatar, Oman, Turkey and Kuwait.
