The Emirates Institute of Banking & Financial Studies (EIBFS) and Bradfield Group have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the CIPD to offer internationally recognised HR training.

Bradfield’s commercial director Nigel Pearcy, who signed the MoU, said: “With over 20,00 students attending human development programmes through the EIBFS each year, their banking and financial clients expressed a desire to develop their specialist knowledge in the important human resources area.

“CIPD Level 3 and Level 5 HR management training courses will be marketed immediately to all client companies and training programmes will begin in Autumn 2017 at all three of their regional campuses based in Sharjah, Abu Dhabi and Dubai.”

The following training courses will be offered:

  • CIPD Level 3: Diploma in Human Resource Practice (DHRP)
  • CIPD Level 3: Diploma in Learning & Development (FDLD)
  • CIPD Level 5: Diploma in Human Resource Management (DHRM)

“Our collaboration will bring Bradfield’s years of CIPD HR experience to bear for the leading banking and finance leaders and managers in the UAE,” said Caroline Griffiths, managing director of Bradfield Group.

“This CIPD training will put the professionalism of HR management training to the forefront of this key industry and provide the specialist skills HR professionals in the region need to compete on a worldwide basis,” she added.

Matthew Mee, managing director of CIPD Middle East, welcomed the new opportunity: “We are excited to see the partnership between Bradfield Group and EIBFS, which is a great foundation to set standards and raise HR capability across the UAE banking and finance sectors.”
