Throughout the development of the Employment Rights Bill, we’ve shared your insight with the UK Government to ensure your voice is heard at the highest level. Following negotiations between trade unions and employer bodies, including the CIPD, this month the Government agreed to amend its proposed changes to unfair dismissal rules
This outcome shows the strength of our representation of the profession alongside of other employer bodies of the profession’s voice alongside other employer bodies in influencing legislation that balances business needs with protections for employees.
