Learn, collaborate and network with CIPD members and people professionals in Tees Valley
Welcome to the Tees Valley branch page. Our region has SO much to offer and as HR and people development professionals, we have a great opportunity to shape and make a real difference within our working environments and communities. We are proud to represent and support a diverse community of nearly 1,500 registered members from across the Tees Valley area.
Our branch covers Darlington, Hartlepool, Middlesbrough, Redcar & Cleveland and Stockton-on-Tees.
We hope to encourage greater engagement, networking, peer-to-peer support and collaboration along with active continuing professional development through the exciting opportunities and offerings we are privileged to provide. Canvassing local needs and perspectives is also crucial in the national work CIPD contribute towards. In continued challenging times we hope to truly meet the needs of our members and work with you to ensure we continually review and improve how we achieve this.
We have a great volunteer team in place whom make up our dedicated committee. We have a great balance of fulfilment from our roles and welcome those interested in supporting us in any way.
If you have ideas or feedback you wish to raise, opportunities to share, the desire to get involved and add to your professional and personal development or simply reach out please get in touch via our branch email.

Our committee of volunteers is made up of people practitioners, with a wealth and breadth of experience across specialisms and sectors. We offer various services and events aimed at practitioners across the region, with an annual programme inclusive of CPD and networking activity. We are also proud of our work with local education institutions, celebrating the development and achievement of our practitioners of the future through our annual Student Awards event.
We are currently collaborating with other branches to further expand our portfolio of member benefits and activity to bring the best possible service, outcomes and benefit for our members.
