Two possible study routes
1. CIPD accredited university programmes
These are Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees designed, developed and delivered by universities that are mapped to CIPD qualifications and have been accredited by the CIPD.
Upon successful completion, you will be awarded a degree by the university you study with and you will be awarded Associate Membership of the CIPD.
2. CIPD qualifications
CIPD qualifications are taught by external study centres but are awarded by the CIPD.
When you successfully complete your CIPD qualification, you will receive a qualification certificate from the CIPD and be awarded Foundation or Associate Membership, depending on your qualification level.
There are three levels of CIPD qualifications - taught by external study centres but awarded by the CIPD: Foundation Certificate, Associate Diploma and Advanced Diploma.

Other options beyond qualifications
If you’re an experienced people professional and can demonstrate how you meet the membership standards you may be able to gain CIPD membership by completing an Experience Assessment, without the need for studying.
Have your real-world experience assessed to gain CIPD membership without having to study.
