What have we been up to?

HR Magazine Conference

Gordan, Gina and Vivien had the chance to attend the HR Network Magazine leaders’ dinner and conference this month. The team hosted a table of senior CIPD members at the dinner, offering a great opportunity to discuss key priorities for people professionals across Scotland. They also had the chance exhibit at the conference, where the CIPD stand allowed them to reconnect with many of our fantastic people professionals.

Career Empowerment

The team in Scotland recently attended the CIPD Branch in West of Scotland annual Career Empowerment event, for students and early-career members. Gordon spoke alongside co-chair, Michael Youd, committee member Dr Silvio Hoffman, and Melissa Curtis on topics such as networking skills, the importance of reflective practice, and the skills employers are really looking for in early careers.
