Learn, collaborate and network with CIPD members and people professionals in South East London
Thank you for visiting the South East London Branch homepage. We're pleased you've taken the time to learn more about what we do in the branch.
We're a diverse group of locally-based CIPD members who volunteer to run the branch, with some branch committee members who have dedicated well over a decade to the branch working alongside student members who have joined in the last year. The committee meets regularly to plan our programme of events and manage our branch activities. Our branch ethos is to 'Promote and encourage workplace utopia'.
We run face-to-face and online branch events.
Our branch works closely with the University of Greenwich and runs networking and mentoring opportunities for local CIPD students.
We're always looking for ways to engage with members and improve what we do so please get in touch via email, Twitter or at one of our events. We look forward to seeing you soon.

Branch Chair
Our members rate their access to a local branch in their top three membership benefits. Come along to our branch events to discover other CIPD benefits. Explore the issues and trends impacting our profession. Network, learn and share ideas with people professionals in our area.
Our branch programme includes regular events on topics such as the future of HR, organisational development, inclusion and diversity. We have special interest groups for coaching and mentoring, and wellbeing, with events running regularly throughout the year. We also provide the opportunity for all members to network and get to know each other at all of our events.
Our underlying aim is that all our sessions remain topical, are innovative, and that all members feel comfortable and able to engage with the speakers and other members. We want all of our activities to be relevant and enjoyable for all members and would welcome any ideas and suggestions for future events.
Our mission statement at the CIPD South East London Branch is to promote engagement between local stakeholders and CIPD members, to continuously build learning moments, by sharing ideas and growing through individual and team contribution. We will achieve this by raising an awareness of where HR professionals can improve business processes that benefit our members and the local community.
We are always looking for ways to engage with members and improve what we do and work to achieve our mission statement, so please get in touch by email, Twitter or at one of our events.
