Learn, collaborate and network with CIPD members and people professionals in East London and Docklands
A warm welcome to the CIPD Branch in East London & Docklands. We are a team of highly experienced people professionals with over 20 years service and proud to be long-standing members of the CIPD and supportive of our fellow people professional community.
We have an amazing group of dedicated committee members, and we work hard to put together a varied programme of events tailored for our branch members including students who want to learn more about our profession. We ensure our events provide practical and legislative learning to enhance your professional development. Our events are held online via MS Teams or in-person at a venue in East London. We welcome your feedback on our events and also your suggestions for any future events.
Please sign up to our newsletter and book your place at our next event on our Eventbrite page.
We look forward to meeting you at our upcoming events.

We are one of the seven branches in the London region, and larger events are run by the region.
The East London and Docklands branch geographically covers some of the most diverse and dynamic business communities in the UK. Covering the Stratford area and the fast-paced developments at the 2012 Olympic Park, through to the ongoing developments in the Docklands and Royal Docks areas close to the Thames. Our branch members work in people roles for some of the largest organisations in the world, through to start-ups and thriving family and small businesses. The region also has several academic CIPD centres offering all levels of CIPD qualifications.
The branch works closely with the universities, colleges and independent qualification providers in the region, and we seek to support our strong CIPD student membership base through tailored branch activities.
Our online branch events can be watched afterwards via YouTube.
We would love to hear from you if you would like to join the committee, become a friend of the committee or have an idea for a branch event.
With workshops, round tables, panel discussions and expert speakers, our thought-provoking events cover everything our community needs. Network, learn and stay up to date.
