People professionals have a role in shaping governance, particularly where artificial intelligence (AI) affects employment related matters. As AI becomes more sophisticated and widespread, implementing good governance is necessary to balance the opportunities and risks of using AI systems. There are many good practice guides for implementing different aspects of AI governance. In this guide we give an overview of four risk management frameworks and six international standards that can be used to implement AI responsibly, manage risks, and build confidence in its deployment.
