Meet our team

Our regional network in the South East of Ireland encompasses Waterford, Kilkenny, Wexford and Carlow.  The South East has been growing significantly in recent years and we want to support its continued growth by showing the area has a rich pool of HR/L&D professionals.  It is vitally important to strengthen our networking, relationship building, knowledge sharing and continued strategic input in local businesses. 

We run varied events from; business breakfasts to brunches to social evenings on employment law updates and topical areas in HR which meet the needs of our members. We look for feedback at our events and we strive to provide relevance and enhanced value to CIPD membership in the South East.

The South East Region, with a population of 510,333 is home to 75 multinational companies employing close to 15,000 people. The main clusters are Financial Services, Technology, International Business Services and High Value Manufacturing (Pharmaceutical, Medical Devices and Engineering).   We are delighted to have an ongoing working partnership with Waterford Institute of Technology who conduct an accredited CIPD comprehensive programme covering areas of human resource management and employment relations including a Masters in Human Resource Management.

Our committee is dedicated and committed to providing a worthwhile programme of events and networking opportunities to our South East members.  We look forward to seeing our current members and new members at our many events throughout the year. We also welcome non-member/potential members to most of our events.
