Protecting wellbeing and psychological safety during disruption

Employers in the Middle East play an important role in supporting their people, particularly when the wider region is experiencing periods of uncertainty. In workplaces made up of many cultures, languages, and backgrounds, teams can experience these moments differently and many do so without the support systems they would usually rely on, while families abroad follow events closely and feel concerned. This session explores how leaders can strengthen wellbeing and psychological safety across multicultural teams while maintaining resilience and performance. We’ll focus on practical, grounded approaches to leading with empathy, communicating transparently, and supporting people through challenging periods in a way that respects cultural differences and builds collective trust.
