Coffee and connect: AI and HR

About this event

Our next coffee and connect will centre around AI and it’s part in HR strategy and operations.

These sessions are informal, open conversations with people who sit in different parts of the profession. The value comes from sharing experiences, asking questions, and hearing how others are approaching similar challenges.

In-house HR, line managers, consultants and non-members are all very welcome. This isn’t a teaching session — it’s a chance to connect, compare notes and learn from each other.

Some of the things we might explore together:

• Who owns AI in business, HR or IT?
• What do we use (or should we use) AI for?
• Common pitfalls we see
• Has AI already affected workforce planning
• Has AI affected the rise of disputes and litigation
• Do we and our colleagues feel confident and competent using AI ethically

No presentations. No slides. Just coffee, conversation and collective thinking.

Timings

18:00-18:30 - Arrival, registration, tea, coffee and pastries

18:30 -20:00 - Informal chat

20:00 - End and depart

This session will be hosted by Nelli Rowsell, member of the CIPD Branch in Thames Valley.
