The CIPD has launched a new quiz-based talent management journey planner to help organisations improve their talent management practices and better address labour and skills shortages.

The new tool is quick and easy to use and draws on insights from our Resourcing and talent planning report and related CIPD resources on talent management.

By completing just seven ‘yes’, ‘no’ or ‘not sure’ questions, organisations get tailored recommendations on how to recruit and retain employees more effectively – with a particular focus on fair and inclusive recruitment. The tool also gives people professionals easy access to key definitions for terms mentioned in the questions, including, what ‘inclusive’ recruitment and selection is, or how ‘fair, transparent and unbiased’ pay processes work in practice.

Using the new talent management journey planner will enable organisations to improve talent management practices and attract, onboard, develop and retain a diverse workforce.
