The CIPD partners with Enterprise Nation to support the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) on new Recovery Advice for Business Scheme
The CIPD is delighted to partner with Enterprise Nation and support BEIS to launch Recovery Advice for Business, a new business support platform linking professional qualified consultants to small and medium sized businesses (SMEs) in England looking for support across HR, marketing, finance and business growth.
Many SMEs are facing an uncertain future following the devasting impact of the coronavirus. Government schemes like the Job Retention Scheme and the Bounce Back Loans Scheme have provided them with much needed financial support, but many are struggling to navigate a whole range of people related issues.
Through the Recovery Advice for Business Scheme, CIPD members can ensure SMEs get the advice they need to re-orientate, re-plan and relaunch over the coming months. The CIPD is calling on members who are independent consultants to give SMEs one hour of free advice per month until the end of the year. This will be provided via the Enterprise Nation platform, an online platform that many SMEs already use as a means to connect with advisors.
The coronavirus pandemic has seen hundreds of thousands of individuals volunteer their time, putting others before themselves in order to get the world back on its feet again. At the CIPD we are incredibly proud of our community of volunteers, who we’ve seen go above and beyond. We’ve had record numbers of people looking to get involved and support CIPD volunteering programmes and are thrilled to be able to offer this new opportunity for Members.
