What should I know before booking an Accredited Programme?
If you're booking an Accredited Programme, be sure to review the section “What will I need to successfully complete the programme?” on the course page. This outlines key requirements, expectations, and any materials you may need before starting.
How is CIPD learning delivered?
Our courses are available in several formats to support different learning styles:
- Face-to-face learning: In-person sessions held at designated training locations.
- Online and face-to-face: A blended experience combining online learning with live sessions, delivered either virtually or in person.
- Online (self-directed learning): fully online courses that you can complete independently, at your own pace.
- Online class: live, cohort-based online courses led by experienced instructors.
The CIPD’s Learning hub is the core of all CIPD learning courses. Where you can access your learning details, joining instructions, essential reading, and online learning. The Learning Hub also allows you to track your online progress and gives you access to a range of additional resources, such as the Self-Assessment tool, My CPD Reflections, and a customisable learning plan.
How can I assess my knowledge and identify my development needs?
If you're unsure where to begin with your people profession development, you can use the CIPD's self-assessment tool. This tool helps you evaluate your current knowledge and behaviours against the CIPD Profession Map and provides personalised learning recommendations and resources tailored to your development needs.
The self-assessment tool can be found on the CIPD's Learning hub and is only available to:
- Active CIPD members - who have ongoing access to the Learning hub whilst in active membership.
- CIPD learning customers - who get 24 months of learning hub access from the date their course booking was made.
Simply log into the learning hub here.
