Submission to the House of Lords Autism Act 2009 Committee
Submission to the House of Lords Autism Act 2009 Committee
In our response to the House of Lords Autism Act 2009 Committee we focus our analysis of our response from our 2024 Labour Force Survey and 2024 Neuroinclusion At Work report.
From the same survey we also highlight, the autistic unemployment rate, where we found it was much higher in men and compared to any other health condition men with autism are more likely to be unemployed.
In the call for evidence, we also highlight our thoughts on the key recommendations which government should be giving to employers to support employees with autism. We also focus on what the government needs to do in order to make new policies and to support people with autism.
We also highlight what issues people with autism experience at work, how to support and retain in the workplace.
