About this event

Join expert employment lawyer, Philip Pearson-Batt of local firm Precept, to make sure you are right up to date with all the latest changes.

From those attention grabbing headline updates to the more stealthy (yet still surprisingly mighty) tweaks, Philip will make sure you know what you need to know and what you need to be doing about it.

The session will look at:

  • Changes in the Employment Rights Act 2025 both past and future
  • Key cases that might influence our ways of work

Lesser known changes like rules around information to be provided by Sponsorship License holders

Never before has there been more to keep on top of when it comes to changes in employment law. Looking back over the last 12 months and looking forward to the next 12 months, some of the biggest changes to employment rights in the UK have either come into play or are on the table.

Delivered in a jargon-free, myth-busting way, you’ll leave this session with lots of practical tips and tricks to take into your workplace so you're prepared for the next 12 months of employment law and HR changes.

Guest speaker:

Philip Pearson- Batt, a Senior Associate and very experienced Employment Law and HR lawyer at specialist Employment Law firm Precept.
