There are a number of pathways to join the CIPD community. No matter your career stage or professional goals, there is a CIPD membership level tailored to you.

There are a number of pathways to join the CIPD community. No matter your career stage or professional goals, there is a CIPD membership level tailored to you.
Completing a CIPD qualification can lead to different levels of membership, depending on the level you are studying. For example, completing a CIPD Foundation Certificate in People Practice (Level 3) will lead to a Foundation membership and completing a CIPD Associate Diploma in People Management or Organisational Learning and Development (Level 5) qualification will lead to an Associate membership.

If you're an experienced people professional and can demonstrate how you meet the membership standards but don't want to study a CIPD qualification, become a member by completing an Experience Assessment.
This experience-based, non-study route into membership recognises the knowledge you've gained, and your impact as a people professional through a written submission and professional discussion with an assessor.
