Our website is packed with resources for people professionals. Here’s where to look:

• The people profession - Learn about the different HR and L&D careers available. Also, explore the CIPD Profession Map, the global standard for people professionals.
• Policy and insights - Stay up to date with research, reports, and policy changes affecting HR and L&D.
• Knowledge hub - Practical, evidence-based resources: guides, templates, tools, and factsheets. Members also get access to business journals via EBSCO.
• Learning - Find CIPD learning courses, qualifications, CPD tools, and the Learning Hub. Students can access dedicated study support.
• Membership - Learn how to join, upgrade, and make the most of our member benefits.
• Get involved - Connect with the profession through events, webinars, and community forums.

Tips for finding content

• Search smarter: Use quotation marks around keywords for precise results. You can also filter your search results by content type.
• Browse by topic: Use the A-Z topic page under Knowledge hub to find resources on specific topics (e.g. wellbeing, diversity, reward).
• Log in for member-only content: Exclusive tools, journals, and archives require members to login. The option to login is available in the top-right of the website or within the menu options if on a smaller screen.
• Ask CIPD Buddy: Members can get quick, evidence-based answers with supporting resources using our AI tool.
• Studying? Check the study resources page for unit-specific materials to support your qualification.

The A-Z topic page, available under the Knowledge hub, allows you to browse by subject area. Each topic groups related resources, making it easier to find everything in one place.

Or search your topic using the website search bar at the top of the website. If you prefer a certain content type, you can filter the search results accordingly.

Within the Student member area, visit our study resources page. Here you'll find:

• Study guides to support your academic writing.
• Signposting to other CIPD benefits that can support your studies.
• Studying a CIPD qualification? You'll find helpful materials for each unit of your qualification. This can include unit overviews, assessment videos and helpful reading. To access these resources, you'll need to log in to your CIPD member account.

You’ll also find a wealth of useful content within our Knowledge hub:

• Use the A-Z topic page to browse by subject area. 
• Or dive into Business journals from EBSCO, an online database of over 200 leading HR, L&D, business and management journals. Exclusive to members.

CIPD members get access to exclusive content and resources. If you’re not logged in as a member, you’ll see a message asking you to log in.

How to log in:

• Click the ‘login here’ link displayed at the bottom of the prompt.
• Or use the Login/Register option at the top right of the website (desktop) or in the menu (mobile).

Still can’t access content? You may be:

• Logged in with a guest account instead of your membership account. Try another email linked to your membership.
• Or your membership may be suspended or cancelled due to unpaid fees.

EBSCO is an online database featuring over 200 top journals. These include HR, learning and development, business, and management journals. As a CIPD member, you have exclusive access to this resource.

How to access business journals from EBSCO

EBSCO is a member-only benefit, so you’ll need to log in to your CIPD account first.

Within EBSCO, you can either:

• Browse anonymously
• Or create an EBSCO Discovery Service account. This allows you to bookmark journals and organise them into project folders.
