Handling grievances even when AI is used: workshop with case law examples; legal and practical guidance on how to manage grievances
This masterclass with an expert facilitator, Maria Gallucci, will compare different case law examples to offer practical guidance on the complex issues arising from grievances.
People professionals have always experienced pressure from employees to be informed about the subsequent outcomes of upheld grievances, when allegations have been made about a manager or other employee's behaviour. They need to deal with the tensions around fairness to both parties, maintaining confidentiality and operating within GDPR.
Reports indicate that employees have been using AI to set out their grievances, changing the nature of allegations from ordinary working life terms to semi-legal terms. Identifying the crucial grievance points in long documents has become difficult.
Maria will give examples from case law which lead to the practical methods for organisations to ensure organisations treat staff fairly within their procedures.
