Speaker bio:

Patricia Findlay Professor of Work and Employment Relations and Director of the Scottish Centre for Employment Research at the University of Strathclyde Business School.

Patricia is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Edinburgh and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts. Her research, publications and grants span job quality, innovation and workplace governance, and their links to contemporary societal challenges. Her research and impact are steeped in collaborative working across employer and other workplace stakeholders. She has led or co-led multiple major research investments from research councils, governments and other funding bodies on sustainable productivity, innovation, workplace governance, tackling inequality and enhancing work-related wellbeing. Tricia holds senior policy advisory roles including as Co-Chair of Scotland’s Fair Work Convention and as an Independent Expert Member of the Advisory Board of the UK Fair Work Agency.
