We’re having a summer meet up: come along and join us for some networking and a chance to get to know other local people professionals.
Join the CIPD Branch in Hertfordshire for an informal summer netwalking event at Heartwood Forest. This popular relaxed face-to-face event is designed to give local people professionals the opportunity to step away from the desk, enjoy some gentle exercise and connect with others across the local area.
We will meet at Heartwood Forest car park for a friendly walk, with time for introductions, informal networking and conversation along the route. The event is intended to be welcoming and inclusive, whether attendees are CIPD members, non-members, new to the profession, established practitioners, independent consultants or simply looking to meet other local people professionals.
What attendees can expect:
Proposed agenda:
10:00 – Arrival, welcome and introductions at Heartwood Forest car park.
10:10 – Gentle netwalking session with informal discussion and networking.
11:00 – Walk concludes and group makes its way towards Heartwood Café and Tearooms where you can purchase refreshments and continue networking.
11:30 – Event close.
Attendees should wear comfortable footwear and dress appropriately for the weather. The event will be informal and conversational. The focus is on wellbeing, connection and peer support.
Hosted by Diana Secker and Paula Mitchell, members of the CIPD Branch in Hertforshire.
