Strategic HR teams play a critical role in enabling organisations to navigate uncertainty, build clarity, and strengthen resilience. In this session, we will explore emerging Change Leadership direction and what it means for HR as a strategic partner. Participants will gain practical insights into leading people through change, shaping consistent messaging and supporting leaders.

Andy Gallimore:

Andy brings a vibrant spirit of innovation and possibility, constantly generating ideas and inspiring those around him with his enthusiasm and forward-thinking mindset:

Sean Clare – Senior Business Director, Blue Arrow Recruitment

I’m Sean Clare, Senior Business Director for Blue Arrow Recruitment, overseeing our teams across Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and North Staffordshire. I support clients with temporary and permanent staffing solutions across sectors including Manufacturing, Logistics, Office, Catering and Hospitality, focusing on building long term partnerships and helping businesses overcome their workforce challenges. Our clients range from small family run firms to large multinational organisations.

I’ve been with Blue Arrow for 17 years, leading and developing teams while staying closely connected to the local community. I run an annual Easter Egg donation campaign and work with education providers such as Juniper Training, offering work experience placements to help students prepare for employment. I also mentor students at the University of Derby, a role I’ve proudly held for the past 18 months.


Andrew Deighton – AWD Development Solutions

Andrew Deighton is a senior level Human Resources (HR) professional with significant people, team and organisation development, change and talent management specialism. His experience and expertise was developed through working for Rolls-Royce plc for 26 years in roles across many parts of the business.

Following an initial career as an engineer, Andrew moved into HR and development roles. He’s led the HR workstream on a £40m new manufacturing facility build, he’s been the Head of Employee Development for a 7,000 people Marine business and the Head of Early Career Pipeline in a business recruiting over 1,000 trainees a year. He led the early career strategy and activities, including education outreach, attraction and recruitment, and apprenticeship and graduate development programmes.

Andrew had international experience as the HR Director for a £600m turnover, 2,000 people global services business based in Singapore (for four years) and has an in-depth understanding of working with UK, US, Asian and Nordic teams and cultures.

He developed the executive recruitment, development, succession planning and reward strategy and processes in a three company joint venture team bidding for a £7bn nuclear decommissioning contract.

Andrew set up AWD Development Solutions Ltd. in April 2014 so he could focus on the areas of work he is passionate about - developing people and teams so they can grow their business. He has delivered training, workshops, coaching and talks to a broad range individuals, and businesses and organisations at different stages in their growth lifecycle and of differing sizes.

Andrew’s particular focus is on team building and team member and leader development. He’s created a practical team development framework and has published ‘The Exceptional Team Blueprint® book on Amazon.

Andrew is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and Member of the Professional Speaking Association.
