About this event

Join us for the annual meeting of the CIPD Branch in South London as we review 2025/26 and announce our new committee for 2026/27.

In this event, you’ll also be guided by career and leadership coach Fay Wallis. Fay is the host of the HR Coffee Time podcast and creator of the Amazon no.1 bestseller The Essential HR Planner. She’ll take you through a practical, step-by-step approach to becoming more strategic. And how do you go about putting it into practice without it feeling overwhelming (or boring)?

During the workshop, you will:

  • Understand what ‘being strategic’ really means
  • Identify your natural strategic strengths (and any gaps – we all have them)
  • Find ways to play to your strengths even more effectively
  • Create a plan to fill your strategic skills gaps

You’ll leave with fresh ideas and the motivation to start putting them into action straight away.

Come to the LSBU building and share your name at reception, and they will guide you towards the room. Come join us with some Tea/coffee/canapes/buffet/Wine.
