As expectations around workplace wellbeing continue to grow, people professionals and managers play a pivotal role in shaping environments where people can perform at their best without compromising their mental health.

This engaging and practical session is designed to support CIPD members in building confidence, capability, and clarity around workplace wellbeing , with a particular focus on understanding and managing stress within teams.

We’ll explore what wellbeing really means in a modern organisational context, how stress shows up at work, and what managers can realistically do to prevent and respond to it. The session will move beyond theory, offering practical tools and approaches that can be applied immediately in day-to-day management practice.


In this session, we will cover:

  • How to recognise and respond to signs of stress in individuals and teams
  • The role of managers in creating psychologically safe, supportive environments
