This session covers key steps to create a learning and development offer that aligns with and supports your wider organisational strategy.

At the end of the session participants will:

  • Understand what is meant by the term ‘strategy’.
  • Understand how a Learning and Development strategy supports the wider organisational vision.
  • Identify the key steps to developing a Learning and Development strategy.

Participants will be given access to a framework that will support them to create their own Learning and Development strategy.


About the speaker

Anneliese King

Anneliese is an experienced Learning and Organisational Development Partner who has worked extensively across both private and public sectors. She specialises in designing comprehensive learning programmes and curating development events that meet the diverse needs of today’s organisations.

Driven by a deep commitment to nurturing growth, Anneliese brings creativity, innovation and a solutions‑focused mindset to overcoming barriers to learning. Her work consistently promotes positive change, empowering individuals, teams, and organisations to build capability and enhance workplace practice.

With a broad and practical understanding of the full learning cycle, Anneliese ensures that all development initiatives are co‑created with stakeholders, resulting in meaningful, impactful and relevant learning experiences. She takes pride in seeing participants leave her sessions feeling equipped, inspired, and confident to apply new insights to their everyday work.

Anneliese is a Senior Practitioner Executive Coach with the EMCC, as well as an accredited Action Learning Facilitator and Insights Discovery Practitioner. She integrates these methodologies into her development programmes to deepen self‑awareness, strengthen collaboration, and enhance organisational learning.
