Workshop on essential employment law issues and also our branch annual meeting.

The workshop with expert employment law partner Maria Gallucci from Woodfines LLP will provide a concise legal overview and considerable practical guidance on legislation and case law.

Examples will be discussed to show how organisations can reduce their risks by using legal, ethical and fair processes. The workshop will give guidance on good practice and helpful tips to enable you to be effective as a people professional.

Attenders will gain takeaway tips during this CPD session for improving their principles led, evidence based and outcomes driven activities.

After the CPD session, the formal business of the branch annual meeting will be managed by Chizoma Okaro, Branch Chair and Katie Dungate, Branch Secretary.

About the speaker

Maria Gallucci

Maria Gallucci heads up the firm’s Commercial department, is a member of the Law Society and the Employment Lawyers' Association. As a qualified employment solicitor, she predominantly advises and acts on behalf of employers with expertise in all areas of employment law including case management discussions and final hearings in Employment Tribunal cases. She leads the firm’s specialist advice services for GDPR and misuse and infringement of Intellectual Property. She is a voluntary member of the Badminton England Disciplinary Committee.
