About this event

A relaxed peer discussion on wellbeing and HR burnout - who's looking after HR?

Our next coffee & connect will centre around wellbeing and HR burnout.

These sessions are informal, open conversations with people who sit in different parts of the profession. The value comes from sharing experiences, asking questions, and hearing how others are approaching similar challenges.

In-house HR, line managers, consultants and non-members are all very welcome. This isn’t a teaching session — it’s a chance to connect, compare notes and learn from each other.

Some of the things we might explore together:

  • What parts of HR work cost us the most emotionally — and rarely get named?
  • What wellbeing advice do we give others that’s hardest to follow ourselves?
  • When HR needs support, where do we actually turn?
  • No presentations. No slides. Just coffee, conversation and collective thinking.

Tea, coffee and pastries will be available.

The hosts

Michelle Myers and Lindsay Whitehead, members of the CIPD Branch in Thames Vally committee
