About this event

Build the courage, confidence and presence to lead HR boldly—challenge with clarity and have the conversations that truly matter.

Join us for our branch annual meeting - a key opportunity to reflect on the past year, celebrate achievements, and shape the future together.

In the following session, we’ll explore what it really means to be humans, resourced - the confidence to trust your expertise, the courage to challenge when it counts, and the clarity to lead HR with influence instead of hesitation. You’ll leave with practical tools, renewed belief in your own capability, and a deeper sense of what’s possible when you stop surviving and start showing up as the strategic, human leader your organisation needs. This session will cover:

  • The courage to challenge - how to speak up, push back and have the conversations that need to be happening, without burning bridges or losing yourself.
  • Confidence in your expertise - recognising the value you bring and trusting your judgement, your processes and your professional instincts.
  • Resourcing yourself - letting go of doing it all and learning to invite help, delegate and collaborate without guilt.
  • Brave leadership - taking thoughtful risks, thinking ahead and leading with a grounded, human presence that others trust.

Speakers bio:

Emma Djemil believes that no one should go home from work worse than when they arrived. This, at its core, is what Humans Resourced is all about. Emma writes “Our profession gets called fluffy but I believe it has the potential to change the world of work. There was a time I considered whether driving into a lamppost was a viable way to get my needs met. I was woefully unsupported and too many of us still feel the same.” Emma has delved deep into her own personal development journey, found her purpose and rebuilt her confidence to deliver it. She now helps others to do the same.
