The robot on the hiring panel: The good, the bad and the future of AI in recruitment – 1 hour session via MS Teams – Presented by Sarah Schlobohm

About the session:

Artificial intelligence is increasingly appearing in the hiring process, from CV screening tools to generative AI that can write job descriptions or analyse candidate information. But as these tools become more capable, the risks and limitations are becoming clearer too.

This session looks at the good, the bad, and the future of AI in recruitment. We will explore where AI in hiring has gone wrong, where it can genuinely help recruiters today, and what the next phase may look like as organisations start experimenting with new tools, including the idea of digital colleagues alongside human workers.

What’s in it for you:

  • Understand common risks and failure modes of AI in recruitment
  • See examples of where recruitment AI has gone wrong and what we can learn from them
  • Identify practical ways AI can support recruiters today
  • Explore how AI may shape the future of hiring, including emerging ideas like digital colleagues
