Kola Otekalu, Group HR Director- Ashtead Technology
Kola Otekalu is Group Human Resources Director at Ashtead Technology, a leading provider of subsea technology solutions for the global offshore energy sector.
With over 20 years of progressive HR leadership experience, Kola has consistently driven transformational people strategies across complex, international operations. She has held senior leadership roles throughout her HR career, including a previous role as Global Head of Talent Acquisition, where she led the development and execution of cross-segment strategies for talent attraction and retention.
In her current role, Kola leads Ashtead Technology’s global HR function, focusing on enhancing the employee experience, advancing talent development initiatives, and strengthening organisational capability to support the company’s growth ambitions.
Kola holds an MSc in Human Resource Management and is a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD (FCIPD). She is a trusted advisor to her clients and passionate advocate for emerging talent and the advancement of women in the workplace. Beyond her professional responsibilities, Kola is a dedicated mentor, speaker, and volunteer. She serves on the board of trustees for both local and international charities and in her work, she partners with individuals, leaders, and organisations to champion growth, development, and the unlocking of potential
