Burges Salmon will address practically the impact on each employment lifecycle stage including Trade Union and Worker Voice impact .
Join us and our guest speakers from Burges Salmon to feel well prepared on what these groundbreaking reforms from day one to dismissal mean for you and for your organisation/clients. We will practically and straightforwardly explore how the Employment Rights Act 2025 will shape each stage of the employment lifecycle including the impact of Trade Unions and Worker Voice. Guest speakers profiles:
Luke Bowery is Head of Employment at Burges Salmon. Alongside his Employment Rights Act work Luke advises on all aspects of employment law with particular experience in handling large-scale redundancy, restructuring and change programmes and in managing complex employment tribunal litigation including high value and sensitive discrimination and whistleblowing claims.
Katie Wooller is a Senior Associate, Professional Support Lawyer in Burges Salmon’s Employment Team and is closely involved in Burges Salmon’s work on the Employment Rights Act 2025 and its impact on employers. Katie develops practical guidance and resources for HR and in‑house legal teams.
Kate Redshaw is Burges Salmon’s Head of Practice Development. Her current projects are focused on the Employment Rights Act and how this will impact employers. Previous projects have included extensive work on the employment law issues arising throughout the pandemic and more recently on how employers are supporting their employees through the cost-of-living crisis.
Kate was on a part-time secondment to the CBI working with their team in responding to the Employment Rights Bill as it progressed through Parliament.
