Speakers profiles:

Karen Sanders – Chief People Officer – Public Sector/Civil Service

Karen has been involved with the Northamptonshire committee for the last 10 years and leads on the HR Directors’ Boardroom and Pass it On programmes.

Karen brings a wealth of knowledge from being an HR Director/Chief People Officer for over 20 years and has previously led on national pay & conditions negotiations. She specialises in organisational culture, engagement and creating great places to work.


Nicole Chambers – HR Business Partner, Vision Express

Nicole has been involved with the Northamptonshire committee for 5 years and has just become the Branch Chair.

Nicole has been an HR practitioner for 12 years working in the retail sector, working in a field role, supporting the ever-changing world of retail and the challenges that come from Covid to the cost-of-living increases and demands these place on businesses.


Andy Hodges – HR Director/Chief Operating Officer with proven success in establishing, developing and improving the operational effectiveness and efficiency of the HR service or functions, developing individuals and teams and aligning the HR function with the strategic aims and objectives of the business or organisation. Andy is a regular contributor at CIPD events both as a panel member and host.
