This one-hour webinar update focusing on the Employment Rights Act 2025 (formerly the Employment Rights Bill), which became law in December.

Our speakers, Nicola Barrass and Lee Whiting of Barrass Whiting LLP, will be discussing:

• The changes which will come into effect in April 2026 and later this year.

• Forthcoming changes to unfair dismissal and compensation (where significant amendments were announced shortly before the legislation was passed).

• Steps that employers and HR professionals can take to prepare


Speakers bio:

Nicola Barrass is a Partner and founder of Barrass Whiting LLP.

Nicola qualified as a solicitor in July 2000 and has specialised in employment law for over 20 years, advising a wide range of businesses, charities, employees and directors on their employment law issues. Nicola has been ranked in the Legal 500 for many years and is noted as being “extremely knowledgeable and… always pragmatic.”


Lee Whiting is also a Partner and founder of Barrass Whiting LLP.

Lee has specialised exclusively in the field of employment law for more than 20 years.
