Kristina Risley FCIPD, FHEA, MBPsS

Kristina Risley is a lecturer, researcher and consultant specialising in game-based learning, leadership development and organisational psychology. She teaches BA Games Design at the University of Southampton and is Programme Leader for Cambridge University’s people analytics executive training programme in partnership with Emeritus.

As Director of Cognita Learning Lab, Kristina undertakes instructional design and HR/OD consultancy work. Her research explores identity, interactive narratives and soft skills development through serious and applied games.

Before moving to academia, Kristina spent 10 years in senior HR roles, primarily in the NHS. She is a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD, a member of the Division of Occupational Psychology for the BPS and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
