Discover some of the core Privacy issues, arising from the use of personal data during pay negotiations.

Join us to understand what questions to ask before projects begin to avoid common pitfalls organisations make when it comes to protecting their employees' data.

Judith will provide you with food for thought to help you consider your approach to data protection.

Topics covered will include:

• Do we really need to do this?
• Individuals' reasonable expectations
• What they don't tell you about "Aggregation"
• The right to refuse and the right to stop organisations collecting, using, storing data
• What would, arguably work better.

There will be a chance to ask questions and we ask that you note that that although Judith is a Privacy Consultant and respected adviser, she cannot provide advice on specific cases during the event nor provide legal advice.

Guest speaker's profile:

Judith Ratcliffe is a Privacy Consultant, who was called to the Bar by the Honourable Society of the Inner Temple in 2010. Her background includes Privacy, Data Protection, Journalism and Hospital Radio Broadcasting. Judith regularly writes articles, appears in chats and has written three non-fiction books, the latest of which 'Beyond the hype': What they don't want you to know about Central Bank Digital Currencies', was released in November 2025. She has also authorised a children's magical adventure series: 'Miranda's Silver Shoes'.
