This online session, hosted by Harry Sherrard, Principal of Sherrards Employment Law Solicitors, will explore how subject access requests are often now used as a tactic by aggrieved ex-employees looking to pressurise their employer. The webinar will look at the following topics;

  • Weaponising subject access requests
  • Where is “personal data” kept and what is it?
  • How best to respond
  • What to do if a request is “manifestly unfounded or excessive”?
  • The extent of the “duty to search”
  • How to deal with third party Information
  • What happens if we get it wrong?
  • Settling a claim which involves a SAR


About the speaker

Harry Sherrard - Principal of Sherrards, specialist employment lawyer for 30 years.
