Join us for a 30-minute lunchtime bitesize session exploring the practical and legal considerations of managing medicinal cannabis in the workplace.

Patricia Rowan from JACS will host this session to help people professionals understand the current legislation in Jersey, and the key do’s and don’ts when supporting and managing employees who are prescribed medicinal cannabis. The session will cover common workplace scenarios, employer responsibilities, and how to balance health needs, safety, and performance in a fair and compliant way.

Designed for HR professionals, managers, and business leaders, this session is ideal if you’re looking for clear, practical guidance you can apply immediately.

Patricia Rowan

As Director at JACS (Jersey Advisory & Conciliation Service), Patricia brings extensive experience across employment law, workplace relations, and dispute resolution. Their work spans advising and supporting both businesses and individuals on employment rights and responsibilities, promoting fair treatment and positive workplace practices across Jersey.

With a strong background in conciliation, Patricia regularly works with employers and employees to resolve real world workplace issues, helping parties navigate complex employment matters in a practical, balanced, and constructive way.
