Active Bystander training using the 4D framework to challenge poor behaviour, with self-coaching techniques and assertive language tools.
We’re delighted to be able to offer you the opportunity to attend this session with the Active Bystander Training Company.
Racism, bullying, sexual harassment and other inappropriate behaviours contribute to a toxic culture. The impact they have on people can be hugely detrimental – leading to stress, anxiety and mental health problems. As we are seeing in the news, it can be deeply corrosive and damaging if these behaviours and attitudes are normalised over time. That’s why it’s essential for everyone to know how to speak up when problems arise.
It’s normal to freeze or panic in a difficult situation. This session will show you how to use the ‘4Ds’ to help you stay calm and think clearly. But just knowing what to do isn’t enough. You also need to know how to intervene.
This innovative and award-winning training gives you the skills to challenge unacceptable behaviours, including those which may have become normalised over time.
Places are limited to 40 for this interactive session so you are advised to book early!
