About this event

Championing ethical behaviour, building personal strength, leading sustainable change

In a world of rapid change, people professionals are increasingly called on to be the moral compass of their organisations. Join us for a 90-minute interactive CIPD webinar exploring how to champion and influence ethical behaviour across the organisation, building personal strength and recognising your own ethical values and thinking.

We’ll contextualise ethical HR using established philosophies, theories, models and frameworks. How do we translate these to real life? We’ll invite you to consider how you would respond to a series of different ethical dilemmas. And we’ll think about what happens when ethics and conflict intersect. How should we respond?

Everyone has their own values, so how can people professionals effectively confront complex dilemmas in the workplace while upholding both personal and organisational values and boundaries. We’ll share a framework to use to shape your thinking and decision making when you face organisational or personal ethical challenges.

In short breakout activities you’ll have the chance to share insights and learn from peers across HR, L&D, OD, employee relations and management.

With expert input from Geoffrey Milton, Director and Founder of AllAboutPeople.UK, experienced senior HR leader and accredited mediator and Michael Larbalestier, a digital learning and innovation specialist, you’ll leave with clear approaches and a flexible framework to apply immediately in your practice.

This session aligns with the CIPD Profession Map and is ideal for anyone with responsibility for HR strategy, organisational development, or people management.
