About this event

This session is created specifically for HR professionals who want to better understand seasonal challenges and offer meaningful support.

In this workshop, we’ll explore simple, actionable tools—from the Miracle Morning method to energy-mapping and mindset reframing—that help individuals reset their routines, reframe unhelpful patterns and rebuild momentum. You’ll leave with practical strategies you can apply immediately, both for your own wellbeing and for strengthening resilience and morale within your teams. This session equips HR leaders with the clarity, confidence and tools needed to guide people through winter and into spring with greater balance and renewed motivation.

Objectives:

To acknowledge that January is a difficult time of year; financially, physically and emotionally. With the darker nights and post-festivities, it takes its toll on the body and the financial hit challenges even the most positive of people. What we want to do here is accept the reality, while also drawing in techniques that can provide real, practical coping mechanisms and get you through the tail end of winter.

Outline:

Intro:

  • Intro the speaker with context to the content
  • Impact of this time of year on the body, recognising it's partly normal (the concept of wintering) but that there are ways to work with the mind and body that will support a healthy transition into spring

Main body:

  • Tool 1: Miracle Morning process
  • Tool 2: Drains and Radiators Exercise
  • Tool 3: Reframing your perspective (potentially working with rewiring internal monologue)

Closing:

  • Rounding off key points
  • Taking it forward and choosing 1 thing to do and 1 thing not to do
  • What's next

Outcomes:

Participants will

1. walk away feeling reassured regarding what they are feeling but to feel empowered in how to support themselves through winter

2. be able to identify what is impacting them negatively and remind or identify what helps them in times of stress, stagnation or demotivation

3. be able to apply some practical tools immediately, with an opportunity to take it further into a deeper course, the following week.
