This stimulating Celtic collaboration event explores workplace mediation and provides an opportunity to discuss resolving workplace conflict
A Celtic collaboration event between the CIPD branches in North of Scotland, West of Scotland, Mid Scotland, South East Scotland and Northern Ireland
In the increasingly challenging industrial relations environment many organisations are now operating in, there is a greater demand for effective mediation at both individual and collective level. This session will show members exactly what workplace mediation looks like and there will be the opportunity to have some interaction and discussion about mediation and its benefits.
Dr Mike Talbot will share and highlight key techniques of a mediator, as well as key considerations and points of interest throughout the process – taking you through the various stages of the Mediation model: from the private individual sessions, through the joint meeting, and ending with the building of the agreement.
The session will focus on developing the key skills and building blocks required to help you resolve workplace conflict.
