You're invited to join the CIPD Branch in the Chilterns at Moorcrofts LLP for an informative lunchtime event, where their employment law team will share practical updates on some of the key legal developments affecting HR in 2025.
We’ll take a closer look at several recent cases that are shaping the employment landscape, including:

About the speaker
Lindsey Abbott (Partner on the Moorcrofts employment team)
Lindsey Abbott is an experienced employment solicitor, specialising in representing employers in Employment Tribunal in discrimination and unfair dismissal claims. She also has experience in judicial mediation and negotiating directly with opposing legal teams and via ACAS, to achieve settlement on a range of cases from public interest disclosure claims to race discrimination claims. Aside from contentious areas of employment law, Lindsey also provides advice on day-to-day employment law issues, from transfer of undertakings (TUPE) to advice on restrictive covenants.
Leah Waller
Leah Walle is an experienced employment solicitor, specialising in negotiating Settlement Agreements both from the perspective of the Employer and the Employee. She has extensive expertise in handling unfair dismissal and discrimination claims, with a significant focus on sex discrimination, as well as pregnancy and maternity discrimination. Leah is also the author of BabySteps: A Guide to Maternity Leave and Maternity Pay, published by Law Brief Publishing Ltd.
